RESUMEN: Este artículo describe como calcular y reportar la incertidumbre para uno de los dos métodos de calibración de piranómetros con trazabilidad al Sistema Internacional de Unidades (SI), desarrollado en México por el Centro Nacional de Metrología (CENAM), siguiendo las pautas de la “Guía para la expresión de la incertidumbre de la medición”. El banco de comparación piranométrica, se construyo bajo las indicaciones de la ISO 9847 — “Energía Solar: Calibración de piranómetros de campo en comparación con un piranómetro de referencia”, calibración en interiores tipo IIc. El método utiliza un piranómetro calibrado como estándar y otro dispositivo bajo calibración (DUT por sus siglas en inglés de Divice Under Test). Este método ofrece varias ventajas sobre los métodos de calibración convencionales al aire libre, como la disponibilidad de una fuente de luz en lugar de la fuente natural, además se cuenta con el control de todos los parámetros relacionados a la medición (control de temperatura e iluminación en el laboratorio).
ABSTRACT: This article describes how to calculate and report the uncertainty for one of the two pyranometer calibration methods with traceability to the International System of Units (SI), developed in Mexico by the National Metrology Center (CENAM), following the guidelines of the “Guide for the expression of the measurement uncertainty”. The pyranometric comparison bench was built under the indications of ISO 9847 - "Solar Energy: Calibration of field pyranometers in comparison with a reference pyranometer", type IIc indoor calibration. The method uses a calibrated pyranometer as the standard and another Divice Under Test (DUT) device. This method offers several advantages over conventional outdoor calibration methods, such as the availability of a light source instead of the natural source, as well as the control of all the parameters related to the measurement (temperature and lighting control at the laboratory).
