dc.description.abstractRESUMO: O presente trabalho descreve os progressos realizados na avaliação do recurso solar na região sul de Portugal, com especial foco no Alentejo, com recurso à rede de medida do projeto DNI-Alentejo, composta actualmente por 13 locais de medição distribuídos por diferentes localizações. Esta rede é resultado de uma iniciativa recente, iniciada em 2014, e como tal ainda não dispõe de uma quantidade suficiente de dados estatisticamente significativos. Contudo, possibilita, desde já, a estimativa da disponibilidade média anual de Irradiação Directa Normal (DNI) na região do Alentejo, a qual é conhecida pela sua elevada disponibilidade de Irradiação Global Horizontal (GHI) e a sua baixa variabilidade inter-anual. Com base nas medidas realizadas até ao final de 2019, a disponibilidade média anual de DNI obtida varia entre 1918 kWh/m2/ano e os 2097 kWh/m2/ano. Estes resultados foram obtidos através da análise de dados de 8 estações de medida.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT: This work describes the progresses made in the assessment of solar resource in the south of Portugal, with special focus on Alentejo, using the DNI-Alentejo project solar radiation measurement network, which comprises 13 measuring sites, in different locations. This network results from a recent initiative, which began in 2014 and, therefore, it still does not have the sufficient amount of data to be considered statistically significant. Nevertheless, it already allows preliminary studies to estimate the mean annual Direct Normal Irradiation (DNI) availability in the region of Alentejo, which is known for its high Global Horizontal Irradiation (GHI) mean annual availability and its low interannual relative variability. With basis in the measurements performed until the end of 2019, the obtained mean annual DNI availability ranges from 1918 kWh/m2/year to 2097 kWh/m2/year. These results were obtained through the analysis of data from 8 measuring sites.pt_PT
